Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
what do these results mean from a ct scan? 1. Slightly increased conspicuity of rectal wall thickening and asymmetry as compared to exam dated 1/16/2016, nonspecific and potentially due to underdistended state. However, if there is high clinical concern for local recurrence, consider adjunctive evaluation by PET/CT or MR as warranted. 2. Distal esophageal wall thickening, correlate for GERD. Consider direct visualization if not previously performed. 3. Similar appearance of 6 mm noncalcified nodule in the left lower lobe as compared to 4/23/2015. Continued attention on followup. 4. Hepatic steatosis.
First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the report you have shared, you may need blood workup like ESR and ace levels to rule out possible causes of lung nodule and abdomen involvement.
Plus you may need to undergo colonoscopy for biopsy rectal wall thickening. upper GI endoscopy is also recommended.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
