What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate?

My hep c has been undetectable for 6 months. My Ct scan showed swollen lymph nodes near the liver. My GI doctor said he was not concerned, because if my diverticulitis may be causing this. I am scheduled to have colon resection lapascopic surgery because on inflammation. Can these swollen lymph nodes be related to my hep c ?

Radiologist 's  Response
enlarged and swollen lymph nodes usually indicate current and ongoing inflammation and infection. since the hep c is non reactive and diverticulitis is ongoing, i assume that lymph nodes may be related to current pathology rather then previous pathology.
