i have a mottled mucosa in the sigmoid part of my colon. What does this mean?

'Mottled' is not a regular medicine term, but it means spotted. It can happen in many diseases like tuberculosis, IBD, etc. It is best that a biopsy is done from there to prove a diagnosis.
