What Does Mild Prominence Of Central Pulmonary Vasculature Mean?
My son had an X-ray and results were heart size normal. Mediastinal contours are normal. This is the part I m worried about... There is a mild prominence of the central pulmonary vasculature... Also lungs clear without consolidation, effusion or pneumothorax.. What is the mild pulmonary thing all about? He is on kidney dialysis if that matters at all
Hello and welcome to HCM, The X-ray of the lung fields is within normal limits. Mild prominence of central pulmonary vasculature is not an disease or any abnormality. This finding is within normal limits. The chest is fine.
