What Does Mild Degenerative Spondylosis At L4-5 Mean?

I just got my MRI back. I had a work related injury in June 2015. The findings are as follows. Lower Thoracic and Lumbar disc levels are within limits. at L4,5, there is desiccation one the disc. Mild Disc bulging present. Impression: Mild Degenrative Spondylosis at L$-5. Otherwise Negativ examination. MY question is my injury at work caused very sharp pain in my RT lower back which was a sudden jerking motion and twist where this immediate pain resulted from. What does this MRI saying as far as this is concerned?
