What Does Mean Corpuscular Hb Only 25.4 Mean?
My son has just turned 3 yrs- recent blood tests all good but his mean corpuscular hb is only 25.4 - he is 50 percentile on weight and ht but recently sleeping more in day - due for surgery in 10 weeks - has good diet and has vitamin supplements - why this low level ? Am panicking

Do not panic mean hb concentration is low but you can give iron supliment to increase hb level. What surgery is not told, can you tell me about it. I can through some light on it.
