What Does Lumps On Neck Of New Born Imply?

my 2weeks baby has lumps on his neck which doctor have said its very rare for new born babies to have lumps on his neck.had scan waiting for results heard doctors saying they might send him to great ormond street.which im very worried if its something serious.

He may have some inflammatory lesion like enlarged lymphnode or abscess formation or congenital problem like hemanguoma, branchial cyst, ectopic tissue or sternocledomastoid muscle abnormality. He should go for examination and proper history evaluation. It will give you primary idea about cause. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
