Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A few months ago I had a bad virus with acute bronchitis and sinusitis. It hung on for a while and I was out of work for 3 weeks, and it pretty much wiped me out energy wise. I now have loss of smell and taste. Do you think I need to consult an ENT doctor? I am 64 years old, and concerned that this might be permanent.

What Does Loss Of Smell And Taste Indicate?
Hello Sinusitis can cause loss of smelling (Anosemia). You should go to a ENT doctor and he probably asks a CT scan of sinuses.
