What Does Liver Function Test Suggest?

hi doctor!! i recently did liver function test and the result showed elevated levels of SGOT &SGPT(SGOT=258 U /L & SGPT =88U/L). I have a history of jaundice twice some 6 years ago.i rarely consume alcohol.Also, recently i am taking some medicines for hair loss with biotin & amino acids such as ALanine, Arginine,aspartic acid, crysteine,glutamine,glycine,phenylalanine etc & finasteride 1mg from past 1 month.I want to know it is due to them or there is some other reasons behind it.

Hi, your sgot and agpt is quite high.and mostly its not due to your drugs. You may have some liver abnormality. Thats why your liver enzymes levels are high. Investigate further for other liver function test then take treatment accordingly.
