What Does Itching Around The Vagina Indicate?
hello....yes...every day I have vaginal ...and all around the urethra area...on the sides there in and around...so itchy its awful..i have type 2 diabetes and am taking metformin.....would the metformin be causing this and if so what other medication would be best for me...my numbers are very good AIC is always under 6....and sugar is between 5 and 7....depending ..thank you

dear
i understand thst we are having a itching problem.Now it is also common in case of diebetics.we have to rule out two major issues like a urine infection and a fungal infections inspite of controlled blood sugar level.
Regular douching with antiseptic solution is also a option.
An antifungal cream and powder goes a long way in helping us.
More over in such cases we must take care also to treat our clothings,undergarments as they are also the culprits where mostly the fungal hyphe can hide.
