What Does It Means If X-ray Result Says "PTB, Upper Lobes"?

what does it means if my x-ray result says "PTB, upper lobes"?
is it considered severe? I am given an initial month of treatment?
i'm worried because i feel that i need to isolate my self in my family even in my work...
hope you could give me advice on this.

Thanks for writing in.

PTB refers to pulmonary TB (lung tuberculosis). There is no reason to get worried if you are taking treatment. You may take a couple of weeks medical leave and rest at home. During this period take proper healthy food and do not expose yourself to extreme climate. There is no need to isolate yourself. You may do everything normally if you are sputum negative.
