In my opinion you should undergo chest x ray and ultrasound of abdomen for liver and gall bladder. The pain you are describing can be seen in pleurisy. So chest x ray is needed. Some times inflamed gall bladder can cause similar symptoms. The pain with movement of diaphragm and once pain is severe one catches his breath and stop breathing so that pain subsides. For this ultrasound is needed.
