What does it mean by urine culture test ?

Doctor I am Priti Singh Female 27 yrs ols I am unmarried. My fever is during 1 month. My blood test , urine routine , My X ray of chest report is normal. there is no any disease is found. but doctor told me urine culture test. i don't know what is this Doctor I am Priti Singh Female 27 yrs ols I am unmarried from Patna. What is cost of this test?. Kindly tell me what is reason behind it?

Hi health care magic forum..
Urinary tract infection is most common in women ,sometimes it may be asymptomatic,since your other test are negative for infection,
your doctor has asked for a urine culture test in order to know the microorganisms in the urine. since many bacterias can cause Urinary tract infection ,your doctor want to which bacteria is causing infection.
I don't know exact cost of the test, it varies ,but it is not that costly.
