What Does Intermittent Chest Pain In An Active Youngster Suggest?

I am an 18 year old male. I am quite athletic and do a lot of exercise. Over the past year or so I have been getting chest pains that come and go during the day. It hurts to breathe in and when it happens I sometimes get hot and sweaty with my heart rate going up. The severity and duration of these spells differ each time. A couple of weeks ago, I was in bed and was just about the fall asleep when I suddenly got involuntary muscles spasms in my arms and legs which appeared as if I was having a fit. This only lasted about 10 seconds but then the chest pains started and I get pins and needles in my hands and started to feel fuzzy and dizzy. This lasted around 10 minutes. My mum seems to think it was a panic/anxiety attack. I haven t been to a doctor because it ll get better for a few weeks and then go really bad again. Recently I ve started to get lots of mouth ulcers and the chest pains have come back which is making think it s due to stress. But I m a confident guy and don t really get stressed. I m not sure what it could be but whatever it is, it s very scary whenever it happens and makes me jump from a shooting pain or aches in my chest. Thanks for you help.

Thank you for following up, but you know i need to know a localization of pain,there are so much causes of chest pain:
-heart problems(lack consumption of vitamins and omega 3fatty acids, lack of potassium, angina pectoralis, arrythmia);
-intercostal neuralgia;
-pulmonary infection(Chl.,Myc.pneumonii, accompany with cough)and etc.
I suggest-
1.Consult your doctor.
2.Get examine with ECG, holter.
3.Diet riched potassium(raisin,grapes,potato, carrot),calcium(curd, milk,jogurt),proteins(fish,eggs or protein powder),omega acids(olive oil,cod oil,flax seeds) because you do a lot of exercises and needs special diet.
3.Take multivitamins and omega 3 fatty acids
4.Take a rest for some days from sport.
5.Do massage of chest and apply diclofenak gel if it is intercostal neuralgia and pain are increasing during breathing.
6.If pain connects with heart you can take Mentha tablets under tongue,some sedative.
Take care
