Hello

Your abdominal ultrasound suggests normal findings.
Your liver echotexture is homogeneous.Normal echotexture of liver is homogeneous.
There is no focal lesion in liver. This is a normal finding.
Size of liver is also normal.Normally size of liver shouldn't be more than 13.5 cm in AP direction.
There is no ductal dilatation in liver. This is also a normal finding.

In short,ultrasound findings are normal.

Get well soon.
Take Care

Radiologist Dr. Payal M's  Response
Hello, thanks for writing in to HCM.
I have read your report, and will explain in brief what it means.
- liver has a homogenous echotexture: this is normal, uniform appearance of the liver parenchyma ; heterogeneity would be abnormal.
- no focal lesion: no obvious mass or cystic lesions etc are seen: this is normal. Lesions would show up as bright or dark spots on an ultrasound.
- size 13.3cm: normal size.
- no ductal dilatation: which means no evidence of lesion in the ducts which drain the bile.

Overall it is a good report.
Hope I have answered your query. Do write in if you have any doubts.
Take care.
