Hi,

Weight gain and other problems are seen post menopause due to hormonal imbalance. But the fluctuating weight gain suggests possibility of severe anemia, heart, liver, kidney involvement. You need to get examined and investigated for these followed by specific treatment&life style. Please consult a physician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
