Hi,

Heart murmur in babies can be in two cases
1. if there is a congenital heart abnormality
2. sometimes it can be seen without any abnormality, it disappears with age

In case we hear a heart murmur, especially if baby doesn't eat well, and get white feet, echocardiography is indicated. If it comes back normal, then nothing to worry. But it should done, because in case of abnormalities, intervention is needed. Nowadays, congenital heart abnormalities are detected early, and usually after interventions prognosis is quite good.

Hope I could help you
