What Does Frequent Bleeding When On Implanon Implant Suggest?
Been on Implanon for almost 3 yrs now. I ve Been sexually active the whole time with my bf. My period has became irregular since starting the implant. The past 5-6 months I ve been on my period for 2 wks out of the month. Bleed one wk off a wk. It s continued like that. Now only have 2 months left b4 expiration. The past month I ve been spotting almost brown dark blood every day with strong oder. It s too the point that I don t want to be intimate with my bf because it s embarrassing. Im not want to douche, & did last wk. But it was pointless. I don t know what to do about it. Please help.

I really appreciate your concern, chances of infection is very likely with irregular menses, irregular menses could be due to hormone changes and this nothing to worry but for the infection you can use "Povidone suppository" on tentative basis, else this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
