What Does Fever Along With Body Ache And Frequent Urination Indicate?

My husband had a heart attack 9 years ago at the age of 45. Currently, he has a fever, body aches, shortness of breath and frequent urination and lack of appetite. Are we okay to go see a doctor tomorrow or should I be more alarmed and take him into the e.r. tonight? I was just reading about Congestive heart failure. Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and I can understand your concern. Shortness of breath along with frequent urination maybe a sign of heart failure. You said that he has fever too so there is a chance of upper respiratory tract infection. I would advise you to take him to the ER as it may be heart failure which can be diagnosed only on clinical examination. If confirmed he will be given diuretics to control the symptoms. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
