Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Liver function test can be elevated in Liver diseases & number of other conditions as follow :-
1. Most common causes of mild to moderate elevations of these tests is FATTY LIVER caused by alcohol abuse. Other causes of fatty liver include diabetes and obesity.
2.Viral hepatitis such as hepatitis A, B, C, & G are other causes of mild to moderate liver enzyme elevation.
3.There are hundreds of medicines that can be responsible for increase in the liver enzyme. Example such an overdose of acetaminophen.
4. Liver function test may also be elevated in other infection such as typhoid.
5.Profound liver damage caused by toxins & poisoning can also cause elevation of liver enzymes test.

You should also visit your physician for referral. First of all test would be done for Hepatitis A, B, C etc, and treatment would be done according to the cause.

Hoping your query is solved.
