What Does Elevated Levels Of Mcv And Lower Levels Of Rdw In Blood Indicate?
I just wanted to better understand my blood work results. I have high mcv and low rdw....what does this mean? My Dr was testing me for RA but it came back negative other than this. and i dont have the money to go back and i am still feeling horiable!

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. High mcv suggest your average size of rbcs is larger. There are many causes for that. But most common cause is vit b12 deficiency. If you don't have money then without doing further investigation you can take vit b12 treatment according to your doctor's advice. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
