What Does Deranged Kidney Condition Mean?
My 81 year old Mother is in hospital with a kidney infection that has made her terribly ill and last night the consultant told me three times that Mum has a deranged kidney . There was so much going on I didn t like to ask had I heard correctly. What was she telling me, please?

Deranged kidney function means kidneys are not working properly. As kidneys are responsible for removal of waste product from the body and maintain water and electrolyte balance so when kidney fail to do these properly this is reflected in the blood and the blood test results for kidney function shows derangement.
