What Does Dark Spot Near Ribs Indicate And How To Remove It?
I have a dark spot on my ribs, right where it indents in. Ill be 21 in march, so age isn t the issue. Its been there for a while but today I looked in the mirror and its seemed to have gotten darker and bigger. Everyone mistakes it for a bruise but its been here for so long I dont think thats the case. And I thought when I first got it, it was a sun spot but its winter and I wear many layers of clothing. so what is it ? Whys it getting worse? And how do I stop it from happening anywhere else and make it go away ?

Hi,
It may be pigmented nevus. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis. If needed, he may go for skin biopsy to come to the diagnosis. If it is a type of pigmented nevus,there is no need to go for any treatment.
