What Does Dark Red Blood In Stool Indicate?

Hi, I had alcohol 3 days back, the very next day I was vomiting whatever I had and gradually it stopped. From next day onward I got my stomach upset leading to loose motion with a huge pain in my bottom stomach. Later I found blood in my stool dark red in color. Please help, I m a social drinker and I drank almost after a gap of 2 months and the place I m living is extremely hot. please help. Regards

You gave problem of blood in stool that may be because of intestinal infection like ulcerative colitis.

In peptic ulcer there is blood In stool is present.
Diverticulitis may ruled out.

Anal fissure or hemorroids may cause this type of symptoms.
Stool examination test is helpful for further diagnosis.

Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis..
proper history and physical examination give exact idea.
