Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

By what you explain it is very likely you are having a viral infection. It generally is self limiting and goes away within a week. If your symptoms are for less than a week and are not getting worse you might need to just make sure you rest and drink and eat well. It is not a problem with your thermostat. What might be happening is that you might get fever and it feels like cold, especially when the fever is starting to get up. You can take paracetamol 1 tablet every 6 hours these 2-3 coming days to help with it.
If you are not better in a total of a week or you are any worse you will need to see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
