What Does Chest Pain On The Right Side Indicate?

I ve been having some upper chest pain, right side. I thought it was due to lifting something, but curious as to what it could possibly be if it were something internal? My PCP likes to dole out pills, which I may or may not need.... but I d like for it to be a last resort thing. I m 51, a little over weight, COPD for 3 years, and Diabetic. T he meds for Diabetes have been since Jan. 2017. COPD, inhalers as needed, however needed quiet a bit the past 3-4 weeks... may not be related to chest pain??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It seems like a muscular pain. Take Diclofenac and Tramadol combination drugs twice a day for five days. Also, take Ranitidine drug if you have gastritis.

Apply diclofenac spray at pain site, take rest and apply warm water bag on the affected site.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
