What Does Chest Pain Along With Pain In The Left Arm Indicate?

Recently diagnosed with mild to moderate LVH (don t know thickness) yet. Also have discrete CAD in LAD & LCX. Hypertensive but now controlled. Worried about long term prognosis. Had an event 2 weeks ago and troponins were 33 and 29 but no MI. Keep getting sharp chest pain without exertion that seems to pulse and causes dizziness and short of breath but not clammy. Left arm aches on and off and throbs and can feel pulse in my left hand and fingers.?????Angina??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health issues.

Based on your history of having CAD and LVH and current symptoms the most probable diagnosis would be angina pectoris.
Which medications has been prescribed till now for CAD, hypertension and LVH?
You should consult cardiologist as soon as possible. Angiography, echocardiography and exercise stress test will be done to check the degree of blockage of coronary artery and level of heart failure. According to that further management plan can be decided.

Regards
Dr. Hiren
