What Does Burning Sensation On The Right Leg Indicate?
over a year ago my doctor told me I was type II Diabetic. Never took all the medicine because my doctor looked @ my log and notice my numbers are low. Lately I checked my numbers and sometimes numbers are in the 180s to low 130s all depends on how I eat and exercise. now I have this occasion burning sensation on my right upper and lower leg. what is this and how can I stop it.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. You should keep your fasting glucose levels between 70-110 mg /dl. It looks like you are developing peripheral neuropathy due to unstable diabetes. I recommend you to adjust diet and exercise in order to obtain normal glucose levels. Then if you can't reach it by lifestyle changes you can continue with medications. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
