Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Mucus like thing in stool usually indicates infection. So drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Take oral rehydration solution (ORS) and zinc tablet. Avoid outside, oily and spicy food. Avoid junk food. You will mostly improve with all these. If still not improving after 1 week then get done stool microscopic examination to rule out infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
