What Does Brown And Blackish Line Between Lower Front Teeth Suggest?

Hi Dr, I have a brown/blackish line in between my lower front teeth? It doesn t bother at all. My gums do bleed when I floss...only in this area though. Is the black spot due to the bleeding? Or do I have a cavity? I had a check up in Oct. & they didn t say anything about my lower front teeth & I didn t even notice, if I had them back then.

Hi... Thanks for your query..

As per your question..
If the black or brown line is present in between your teeth and not on any individual tooth it can be staining of your teeth..

If the black line is on individual teeth it can be a tooth decay or even it can also be due to staining of teeth..

You should visit a dentist and get checkup done..
If it will be staining it can be very well removed with scaling and if it is a decay and you do not have any level of pain it can be cleaned and filling can be done using tooth coloured filling material..

Hope u get your answer..

Thanks and regards..
