Considering your description, if the mole didn t increase in size, didn t change color and has clear round contours, in my opinion, the itchy and dry skin around your mole seems to be dermatitis (halo eczema). This kind of mole with eczema around might be Meyerson naevus or a halo mole. They both may occur in healthy people, are not rare and don t have a specific cause. Eczema might heal itself, this may take some weeks. However, a dermatological examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis, and once in a year, you should get your moles checked by a dermatologist.
