Hello,

As per your query, you have symptoms of infected lymph node near jaw, which is most probably due to infection in that area and swelling seems to be due to blocked duct of sub-mandibular gland as this can lead to formation of thick saliva. It could be due to infected tooth in that area leading to abscess formation.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do:
- Maintain complete hygiene
- Apply warm compresses to the lumps 2-3 times a day
- Keep yourself hydrate by drinking plenty of water
- Take proper course of antibiotics to subside infection

Consult oral physician once for proper diagnosis. The doctor may palpate it physically or may go for CT scan to find out exact cause or to rule out other causes. The doctor may also prescribe antibiotics along with medicine for any underlying disease if there is any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
