What Does An Air-filled Lump Behind The Ears Indicate?
My question is behind my left ear is a air-filled bubble like lump that has been present for quite sometime now, I would say a few years...Tonight I notice another on my right ear right up on the backside of my earlobe a little bit smaller but feels the exact same way as the one on the left. What can this be?
These lumps are nothing but apparently Sebaceous cysts, due to localized collection of fluids under the skin. Normally, they are harmless and do not pose any problems. However, they might get infected at times.
These cysts can be easily removed by minor surgery. No oral medicine is either effective or required.
You may consult a Surgeon who will guide you accordingly, about the best course of action.
