What Does An MRI Showing Capsular Thickening Mean?

My recent MRI showed a capsular thickening and I ve been experiencing extreme pain and loss of motion. My doctor has discussed a therapy treatment plan with me. What would cause this to happen and how can I avoid this happening in the future? I have not experienced any injury or trauma to my shoulder at all.

Hello
I have studied your case.
capsular thickening can be due to synovitis.
chronic inflammatory arthritis can lead to capsular thickening.
you may need blood investigation to rule out chronic inflammation.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and Tens may give you relief.
If not relieved intra articular injection.
I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
