General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the MRI report is indicative of vascular insufficiency as there is punctate periventricular white matter small vessel ischemia. The vascular insufficiency can be pertaining to vasospasm, changes in the pH and pCO2 of the brain parenchyma. It is best way to get details of possible cause would be MR Angiography which will pick up all blood supply including minute territories as well.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
