What Does Absence Of Menstrual Bleeding Indicate?

..Hi! My menses has not come over 2 months since 18 May which was my first day of menses. And I did a urine test as well as blood test, it shows negative and Doctor had given me norethisterone 5 MG tab to be taken 3 times a day for a week as I m told that my menses had been delayed due to stresses and insufficient nutrients. Even I m told that once I stopped the tab my menses will come. And at the same time I d taken ferrovit which is for iron supplements once a day too. My concern here is.. Can I still take this 2 pill together in a day?? And after I taking norethisterone, should I still need to practice in taking this hormonal pill to have menses in future?? And I m trying to get my very first baby, what s else that I need to follow up in upcoming future?? Kindly give me advise and your kindness is highly to be appreciated.

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, you are prescribed hormonal pills for delayed periods. This is the accurate treatment. Get your ultrasound of the pelvis done as well to check for the uterus and ovaries.

Yes, you can take an iron supplement and hormonal pills together and it will be helpful in conceiving as well. You need to continue these pills till your menstrual cycle gets normal.
