What Does A White Bump On Lips Indicate?

I have a small white bump you can only see when my bottom lip is stretched. It pulsates like a pimple. It s not on the edge but more towards the inside or upper area. It is a little firm with some swelling especially since I tried to squeeze it. Nothing came out just water from my eyes as I began to tear from sensitivity. I ve read about HSP as well as HPV and other things like swollen pores or things in that matter also stress related factors. I haven t been diagnosed with HPV but I m sure I have it due to warts in lower areas. But nonetheless. ... I m more concerned about my face for it is public. Any suggestions?

Understanding your concern.
Thanks for your query.As you describe in query that you have white bump on lips with mothing inside it.Well the symptoms indicate towards condition called fordyce spot.They are caused by accumulation of sebum by the sebaceous gland.

Usually they resolve with time by its own in few days .If they persists ,pain or bleed them you should consult dermatologist for proper evaluation .Doctor can treat them with laser or electrosurgery .

I you are taking alcohol in excess,or chewing tobacco then also you should consult dermatologist to rule out oral cancer like condition.

For now start taking supplement containing folic acid and vitamin B12.
