What Does A Spot Behind Front Teeth At Roof Of The Mouth Indicate?

There is a spot directly behind my two front teeth at the roof of my mouth that is sore and inflamed. This makes eating uncomfortable and sometimes painful. This happens every once in a long while. Just wondering if there is something I am doing to cause this to happen? Exactly what is happening?

Hello!Thank you for posting here.

This can be a abscess opening you see as a spot. This is because of infection.
A x-ray of the involved tooth area is necessary.Get clinical examination done with your dentist.Discomfort occurs when orifice is obstructed due to any reason.Take a metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily for 3 days.Use a warm saline gargle thrice daily.
This antibiotic course will only reduce the infection.A treatment like curettage is absolutely necessary to completely eliminate infection and prevent recurrence.

hope this helps.
