What Does A Soft Spot In The Head Indicate?
hello my 16 year old daughter has a soft spot on the top back of her head it started smaller the a pincel eracer and is getting bigger in the last two weeks it has grown more then a inch and a half it is in the shape of a cresent moon but has no sign of forming a circle it is on the right side of her head and from the looks of it it is traveling to the left and at the rate it is growing it will meet the left side of her head by the end of the mont she has had catscanns and MRIs and the only thing they have found is is a cyst somewhere on her brain that is nowhere near the spot

it is a sebaceous cyst. it is to be excised with its wall removed. before that can be aspirated for cytology study and confirm diagnosis.
