What Does A Small Lump Along The Jaw Line Indicate?

My husband found a small lump along his jaw line, and it is sort of hard... I dot think it is a pimple or a cyst type bump. It has been itching and the itching has continued down to him neck and shoulder area. The bump itself doesn't seem to be getting bigger-in fact, it is getting smaller if anything. Today I noticed that it is scabbing. What is this?

Dont be worried so much I will suggest you to consult oral surgwon for examination of lump and if needed go for investigation.
