What Does A Reactive VDRL With Quantitiative Dilution Up To 1:32 Indicate?
hello doctor I have done my HIV SPOT test in 2009 it was NEGATIVE but i have some skin problem now and get a test of HIV AND VDRL QUANTITIATIVE test result is HIV SPOT negative and VDRL is reactive and quantitiative dilution up to 1:32 . Please tell what does it mean is it serious my doctor advised me to take injection penidure LA6 / PENCOM 6 (BENZATHINE PENICILLIN INJECTION IP)

Hello, Having positive VDRL with titre of 1:32 is you have infection of treponemma pallidum. It is a one type of Venereal disease or sexually transmitted disease. If i am your treating doctor than i will give you the same drug as doctor prescried you. also give you follow up after month. after month i also ask you to do VDRL titre again. thnx
