Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi, the rash confined to the site of pacemaker is most likely a contact dermatitis, if it is a localised rash, there is no indication for oral antibiotics for the same.
I would adv you to apply flutibact cream (topical steroid-antibiotic combination) locally on the lesions twice daily and give tab Levocetrizine 5 mg at bedtime. Also avoid contact with any metal to the skin surface (by placing a thin sheet etc at the interface)
The rash should resolve with this in 5 days.
Wishing a faster recovery
Thanks
Take care
