What Does A Rash Around The Mouth Indicate?

i have had this rash around my mouth and eyes the doctor at the er said it was eczema but it seems to be getting worse witht he soap and lotions she suggested i use it itches it cracks it bleeds last night i noticed clear discharged from them should i go back to the E R?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

It looks like you are suffering from
Peri-oro-facial dermatitis that is a type of eczematous reaction only..
It can be due to causes like Allergic reaction to any skin cosmetic or soaps, Fluoridated toothpaste, steroid creams,, skin infections etc..
You should consult a physician and get evaluated..
You can be advised to apply Metronidazole containing ointment, and take oral Erythromycin..
Use gel based sunscreen lotion..
Avoid using steroid based creams or ointment..
Keep your skin clean..
You can also use aloe Vera gel..
