What Does A Painful Lump Between The Buttocks Indicate?

My husband has this sore area between his buttocks it is where the cheeks meet it us very red and sore and sometimes the skin looks like it has a blister which pops and is sore they are very small it is painful to sit on and I can t seem to clear it up

Hi. This can be Herpes II which can erupt in the buttock area - typically redness and painful blisters. It can respond to Acyclovir oral and topical cream. You will need a script for the oral one.
