What Does A Painful Bump On The Roof Of The Mouth Indicate?
Hi, the last couple of days I had this bump in the roof of my mouth, now most of my upper palatte is extremely sensitive and painful when I eat something, tonight the same spot started spreading on my inside gums. I get this once in a while and I d like to get an answer on how I can heal this and how I could possibly prevent it
It looks like there is eruption of sores over the roof of the mouth and due to inflammation there is pain and sensitivity. It can also be due to viral infection causing cold sores.. So my suggestion us to consult an Oral Physician and get a clinical examination done.. As of now you can start gargling with a numbing mouthwash containing Lidocaine to reduce pain.. You can also gargle with specialised mouthwash that contains numbing, steroid and antiseptic and antifungal ingredients like Magic mouthwash as it will help in reducing pain as well as inflammation.. Take Vitamin B complex supplements and also avoid spicy foods..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
