What Does A Painful Bump On The Penis Indicate?

A few days ago while using the restroom I noticed a large, painful bump on the base of my penis on the right side, meeting with the scrotum. It is about the size of a penny and was not there a week ago. It s extremely painful, and I ve tried popping it a few times. Nothing comes out, even when using a needle to try and open it. Now, it is hurting even if I ve not messed with it and I m worried it could lead to more problems. What should I do?

Hello
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com,
It seems to me you have got a pastule as per your discretion. You need not to mess with it.
After some time the abscess will get ruptured of its own or when you see it getting whitish make a small incision with sharp and clean instrument.
Also if you see that it is spreading you need to take antibiotics like Amoxycilin for 4-5 days.
As there are many nerve endings in the concerned area it will painful.
There is not anything to be concerned more.
Hope you will be healthy soon.

Regards
