What Does A Lump On The Wrist Indicate?

Hi. My 7 old son in his left wrist appeared a peanut size lump appeared 2 week back it was there about 2 day , then it disappeared. Again it appeared from2days .doctor told it looks like ganglion. Advised to ultrasound . No pain no other systems . Worried.

I understand your concern.
Based on the description, it appears that your son is having 'ganglion'.
You can confirm it with ultrasound.
Generally, ganglion need be excised and removed surgically if it gets infected or grows big enough to restrict the movement or functioning of the joints.
Otherwise, it can be left alone without the need for any treatment.
You can just wait and observe about its progress and then take a call weather or not it needs to be operated after consultation with Surgeon.
