What Does A Lump On The Upper Left Arm Indicate?

I have a large "knot" on my upper left arm. It has been there for several years but in the last couple of months it has gotten larger. I have ovarian cancer stage 3c but I'm in remission and currently taking chemo once a month. What could this knot be??
