What Does A Lump On The Penile Shaft Indicate?

I have a growth/lump inside the shaft of my penis, closer to the base than the tip. It can be felt deep inside from either side of the penis & almost feels bean-shaped (oblong). I have several lipoma-type growths & thought it might be related to those.
