What Does A Lump On The Forehead Indicate?

I noticed the other day a small bruise on my forehead. When I touch it, it feels slightly tender. I do not recall bumping or injuring it. As I was washing my face tonight, I now have another one right above it. The bruises are a little smaller than a dime. Again, have not bumped it. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your forehead furancle.

As per your history it seems to me that it can be a simple furancle and will heal with in few days without any medical intervention. Also don't squeeze it yourself, importantly with durty hands. Use an antibiotic cream like fuciderm 4 times daily.

If it seems to enlarge and there is pus drainage, associated with fever you need to take a course of antibiotics like levofloxicin only after consulting your dermatologist.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any further queries to be answered.
